Peace Caravan Reaches Phulpoto Community in Khairpur to Resolve 40-Year-Old Feud

Khairpur: A peace caravan organized to end a decades-long blood feud within the Phulpoto community reached the concerned parties in Khairpur. The conflict has reportedly continued for nearly 40 years, claiming around 20 lives and severely affecting peace and stability in the area.

Considering the serious situation, social and political leaders have initiated efforts to bring reconciliation between the rival groups. Continuing the vision of Shaheed Bashir Khan Qureshi, several prominent figures joined the peace mission, including central leader Niaz Hussain Kalani, STEP Foundation Chairperson Shaista Baloch, Ghulam Akbar Makool, Sardar Zahid Khan Phulpoto, Comrade Nisar Ahmed Abro, Maulana Zubair Ahmed Phulpoto, Dr. Pyaro Khan Phulpoto, and Tasleem Korai, along with other respected personalities of the area.

During the meeting, leaders of both sides — Atiq-ur-Rehman Phulpoto and Yar Muhammad Phulpoto — welcomed the peace caravan and responded positively to the reconciliation efforts. They also expressed willingness to reach an agreement with Rahim Bux Phulpoto to end the long-standing dispute.

With the grace of Allah, it is hoped that all three parties will soon reconcile, restoring harmony and lasting peace in the region.
