IBA test-qualified candidates

IBA test-qualified candidates from Scale 5 to 15 held a protest sit-in outside the Karachi Press Club, where a large number of young participants and candidates from various districts were present. The protesters said that they had cleared the IBA-conducted tests for different schemes and departments several years ago, yet their appointments had still not been made, due to which they were facing mental stress, unemployment, and financial difficulties.

The candidates further stated that despite repeated assurances from government departments and responsible officials, no practical steps had been taken, forcing them to come out on the streets. They said that even years after passing the test, they had not been given any clear explanation or timeframe regarding their recruitment process.

The protesters demanded that the government, the education department, and the relevant institutions take immediate notice of their issues and ensure transparent, merit-based appointments. They also said that if their rightful demands were not fulfilled, they would broaden the scope of their protest and raise their voice on every available platform for their constitutional rights.
